At South Jersey Dog Training, we specialize in developing quality upland bird dogs through proven hands-on field training.  With over 10 years of dedicated bird dog training experience, Enrico Cangelosi has worked with a variety of sporting breeds and has had the privilege of learning alongside Dom Priete, better known as “The Legend.”

Our 35+ acre training facility provides the space and environment            needed to develop confident, skilled hunting companions through exposure to live game birds and pigeons in realistic training conditions.  Our puppy programs introduce young dogs to birds in a positive and controlled manner, building natural instincts, confidence, focus, and a strong foundation for future field work.

For started dogs, we continue developing their abilities by teaching advanced skills including steady to wing, steady to shot, and a structured forced fetch to retrieve program.  Each dog receives a customized training program based on their age, ability, and goals, whether preparing for hunting season, improving field manners, or developing a polished competitor.  

Our goal is to bring out the natural ability of each bird dog while building the obedience, control, and confidence needed to perform at the highest level – including field trial competitions.  We take pride in producing well-rounded upland dogs that are not only effective in the field but also trusted partners for their owners.
